These workshops and workshop series require pre-registration, and do not allow for drop-ins. We appreciate your understanding that any missed class cannot be refunded or transferred as a “make up”.
These specialized programs require minimum registration numbers. If minimum registration numbers are not met by 4 calendar days prior to the start of the workshop/series, you will be notified that it is cancelled. At that time, arrangements can be made to use payment toward another program if you wish. We are happy to discuss your options with you.

Pregnancy is a time of extraordinary change for your body and life. It is an exciting time. It can also be an overwhelming time. Each pregnancy is unique and so these classes give you the chance to explore a variety of poses and breathing practices that can bring comfort and restfulness to your body and happiness and calm to your mind. Take this time to nurture yourself. There will be ample time for discussion and to share your pregnancy experiences. Have fun, feel supported by other moms-to-be in the class, and look forward to friendships that will grow after little ones arrive. No previous yoga experience is required. This workshop will provide a holistic approach to breathing, toning, partner-assisted yoga postures, supportive massage and meditation practices to help with labour. Birth partners will learn valuable tools to assist through pregnancy and childbirth. Most importantly, it will be a fun and loving time to bond with each other and your baby and prepare for the birth experience. Recommended for second and third trimesters of pregnancy. A great class to get you out and about with your pre-crawling little one! Enjoy taking the time to stretch and release the tension from your new mom body. Particular attention is given to each mom's healing and energy, to ensure your experience is positive and useful for your day-to-day. Babies will join us for some of the poses. For Newborns to Almost Crawlers. Dozens of unique yoga poses designed specifically for your baby to support his/her development. Each class is filled with calming, nurturing ways to enhance bonding and improve baby’s digestion and sleep. During a class, babies enjoy yoga while on their backs, tummies or held in loving arms. For parents, this class is a special opportunity to meet other moms, get support and learn about baby’s emerging personality. Most of the yoga we do in this class is for baby, but you will also learn breathing and relaxation techniques. Thursdays 9:30am–10:30am
Offered as a Workshop Series. Able Crawlers to 24 Months. Supportive, fun-loving and active. Watch tots become more confident as they are encouraged and supported in their physical explorations. Designed to suit your Tyke's curiosities while learning yoga through social interaction, repetition and play. Learn to relieve frustration, improve motor skills, and increase attention span. Our after school Kids Yoga program incorporates age appropriate kids yoga postures, brain gym activities, breathing exercises, cooperative yoga games, creative movement, meditation, relaxation, and simple visualization exercises in a fun, supportive, friendly environment. In these classes your child will learn playful relaxation techniques, and calming strategies. They will also gain improved balance, coordination, strength, cooperation skills and flexibility. All classes include a healthy gluten and nut free snack. (ages: 4-11) Tuesdays. 8 week program January 16-Mar 6 4:00 - 5:00pm
Our Kids Yoga on a PD Day classes incorporate age appropriate kids yoga postures, brain gym activities, breathing exercises, cooperative yoga games, creative movement, meditation, relaxation, and simple visualization exercises in a fun, supportive, friendly environment. In this 2 hour class your child will learn playful relaxation techniques, and calming strategies. They will also gain improved balance, coordination, strength, cooperation skills and flexibility. Designed for youth ages 7 to 14, accompanied by an adult. This program offers a great opportunity for an adult and child to practice as partners and experience hatha yoga together. Calming breathing practices and partner poses help parents and children strengthen their bond. Games and group activities help families develop a sense of community. We practice to discover and challenge our stability, strength, flexibility and focus. This practice can complement and enhance your performance in athletics, dance, martial arts and even in preparation for the pressures of school and social situations. Stay tuned for program updates.
