PELVIC AWARENESS

Saturday, November 30 ~ 2:00 – 4:00 pm.

The pelvic floor plays a key role in maintaining balance in the spine above it and the legs below it. No previous yoga experience required.  Taught by Jayelle Lindsay, PT.

YOGA SUTRA STUDY

Saturday, November 23 ~ 12:30 – 2:00 pm.

$14 + hst for registered students in the studio or $17 hst for drop-in students

Two thousand years after Patanjali composed the Yoga Sutras, we can still relate to this simple desire: to experience a calm and tranquil mind. And Patanjali goes on to teach how a still mind can then reflect the naturalness of our true self. With the growing popularityof yoga as a physical practice, we lose touch with the ancient motivation to include the mind and the heart, as well as the body. on our path to freedom from suffering. This study group will give us an opportunity to read, chant and discuss the Sutras. We will compare translations and take time to reflect and sit with their timeless wisdom.  Taught by Jacqueline Gilbey.

Please bring a translation of your choice.  Some recommendations:
